But somehow, that little penny managed to stick around in wallets.

Decades later, JO turned it into her very own good-luck charm pendant, carrying a tiny piece of its story wherever she went. What started as a small, unexpected gift became something much more meaningful: a reminder that sometimes, the smallest things can hold the biggest bit of luck because a friend blessed you with it.
