If you only know your HK, JP, or EU size, you must inform us prior to production so we can assist with conversion. We strongly recommend sending an existing ring for the most accurate fit. This will be returned together with your completed keepsake. Whether it's keeping to your milk's natural colour footprint or adding some colour and decorative inclusions to give it that extra sparkle, we're here for it! No. Never when done right. When breast milk is properly preserved and professionally set in resin, it will not become sticky over time. Stickiness usually occurs when the milk hasn’t been correctly preserved or when liquid inclusions are added without proper technique or understanding. A Note on Mother's Milk Mother’s milk are beautifully different from each other! Colours, densities and hues can even differ from pregnancy to pregnancy. You may even see some breastmilk “specks” or proteins (which are heavier) in your keepsakes, and this is great! Because this is what makes your breastmilk piece unique. Will your keepsake "yellow"? Heirloom Collection: No, it may turn a light cream shade, but this is due to UV rays (sun | harsh lights) reacting to the resin. This can always be sent back to be colour corrected. Essentials Collection: This type of common resin, used by some in this industry, does not have as much UV protection when compared to premium resin. While it won't 'yellow', it may turn a shade or two darker. But that doesn't take away the beauty of the piece, rather gives it a unique shade of their own. We only use resin that is food safe and safe to wear. We never use resin used for industrial purposes. What can I do to keep my keepsakes looking pristine? General advice on resin: * Resin is water resistant but not waterproof so remove your keepsake before bathing, swimming, washing up or any other water-based activity. * Ensure you remove your jewellery when using cleaning chemicals and including cosmetics, hand creams and hand sanitiser. *When not wearing, store your keepsake away from direct sun in a pouch or in the box we provided. A Note from Us: Our keepsakes are quite hardy and can tolerate daily washings, knocks and the like and should be worn without fear. So enjoy them Mamas & Papas! We truly want you to have fun with your keepsake(s) and to be able to wear it as often as you can wherever you may go. Our beads, charms, pendants and more will last for years to come. But we ask that you treat your keepsakes like you would precious items and fine jewellery. All of our items are suitable for daily wear within reason. Try not to wear them in salt water, chorine, spray perfume on them or store them in strong direct sunlight. Simple Care Tips: • You may wear your items in the shower if you are showering with Cold water. Never with warm or HOT water as this will affect your pieces in the long-run. • Best when you remove your keepsake while during household chores: Substances with additional sulfur like household cleaners, chlorinated water, perspiration, and rubber will accelerate corrosion and tarnish. • Keep out of direct sunlight: Sunlight can cause silver to tarnish as well. • Before you hit the beach or pool, be sure to remove. Prolonged soaking will affect your keepsakes in the long-run. • Put your jewelry on last: For decades, women have been putting their jewelry on last and for good reason. Lotions, makeup, hair spray and perfumes will accelerate tarnishing. • Place chalk/silica packs/anti-tarnish cloth in your jewellery box: They will absorb moisture and help prevent tarnishing. • Heat, moisture and UV will affect your keepsakes, but with proper care you will be able to maintain it for years to come. On scratches and shine: As with any jewellery, you will have to polish and wipe it to maintain shine. But with use do expect scratches and a lack of clarity. Yes, absolutely! We ship breastmilk jewelry worldwide with no issues. However, depending on your country's regulations, you may need to figure out how to send us your breast milk directly. We understand that sometimes you just want to change your mind when it comes to jewellery hardware. We allow this switch within 24 hours. After that your pieces are specially ordered in for you. Completed Keepsake Refund All Returns and Refunds will be based on a case-by case-basis. Each keepsake we produce is handmade with care, and each one unique. As they are hand crafted and not made with a machine and may come with tiny bubbles, slightly uneven edges, but truly one of a kind.
