Before placing an order with My Milk Made, customers are required to review our FAQ to fully understand our processes, timelines, and requirements.

As all our pieces are custom-made using breast milk and other DNA inclusions, customer cooperation and accuracy are essential to ensure a successful outcome.
By proceeding with a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the information provided, including our timelines, care instructions, and submission requirements.

This helps us create a meaningful keepsake while ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both parties.

By placing an order, customers acknowledge that they have reviewed and understood all product information provided. We do not assume responsibility for educating customers on purchasing suitability, material expectations, or general care beyond the guidelines already stated.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all inclusions are properly packed and clearly labeled before sending.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in delays or affect the final outcome of your keepsake.

Labeling & Packing
All inclusions must be securely packed in a sealed envelope or small box to prevent damage or leakage during transit.
 
We are not responsible for issues arising from improper packaging.

Keepsake Care
We ensure that every keepsake is carefully inspected and sent out with the resin and jewellery base in beautiful working condition.

As with all jewellery, proper care and maintenance are the responsibility of the owner once the piece has been received.
A polishing cloth is provided to help maintain your keepsake and reduce natural tarnishing over time.

Tarnishing is a normal occurrence for jewellery metals and can be influenced by factors such as moisture, perfumes, lotions, sweat, body chemistry, humidity, storage conditions, and general wear.

As these factors are outside of our control, tarnishing and wear are not considered product defects.
To keep your keepsake in its best condition, we recommend regular gentle polishing, dry storage, and avoiding direct contact with chemicals and water where possible.

On Plated/Vermeil Keepsakes:
Our keepsake jewellery pieces use high-quality plated finishes over a 925 sterling silver base. As with all plated jewellery, the outer finish may naturally fade or soften over time depending on wear, storage conditions, skin chemistry, moisture exposure, and general care.

Ring Sizes 
All our charts and correspondences are in US measurements. Customers are responsible for providing accurate ring sizing in US measurements.

If you only know your HK, JP, or EU size, you must inform us prior to production so we can assist with conversion.

We strongly recommend sending an existing ring for the most accurate fit. This will be returned together with your completed keepsake.

Please note that incorrect sizing provided by the customer may result in additional costs for crafting an additional piece.

Every Heirloom Collection purchase gets you an online design meeting with us - to help personalise your keepsake! Whether it's keeping to your milk's natural colour footprint or adding some colour and decorative inclusions to give it that extra sparkle, we're here for it!

Please note that My Milk Made is not our fulltime, so design meeting slots has to be booked in advanced to acommodate your chosen slot. 2 'No Shows' or 'Sudden Cancellations' will results in an automatic Long Meeting.

Mamas who are more particular may op for the Custom Service Add-On that starts at RM200 per piece.

Essential Collection 
Made with standard resin, commonly used in the industry. For us to offer a more accessible option without compromising on sentiment.

Milk in Resin, will it get "Sticky"?

Accepted Answer

No. Never when done right.

When breast milk is properly preserved and professionally set in resin, it will not become sticky over time.

Stickiness usually occurs when the milk hasn’t been correctly preserved or when liquid inclusions are added without proper technique or understanding. Making the resin unstable and toxic to wear.

Milk in Resin, will it "Yellow"?

A Note on Mother's Milk
Mother’s milk are beautifully different from each other!

Colours, densities and hues can even differ from pregnancy to pregnancy. You may even see some breastmilk “specks” or proteins (which are heavier) in your keepsakes, and this is great! Because this is what makes your breastmilk piece unique.

Will your keepsake "yellow"?
Heirloom Collection: No, it may turn a light cream shade, but this is due to UV rays (sun | harsh lights) reacting to the resin. This can always be sent back to be colour corrected.

Essentials Collection: This type of common resin, used by some in this industry, does not have as much UV protection when compared to premium resin. While it won't 'yellow', it may turn a shade or two darker. But that doesn't take away the beauty of the piece, rather gives it a unique shade of their own. We only use resin that is food safe and safe to wear. We never use resin used for industrial purposes. 
 
What can I do to keep my keepsakes looking pristine?

General advice on resin: 
* Resin is water resistant but not waterproof so remove your keepsake before bathing, swimming, washing up or any other water-based activity. 
* Ensure you remove your jewellery when using cleaning chemicals and including cosmetics, hand creams and hand sanitiser.
*When not wearing, store your keepsake away from direct sun in a pouch or in the box we provided.

Our keepsakes are quite hardy and can tolerate daily washings, knocks and the like and should be worn without fear. So enjoy them Mamas & Papas! We truly want you to have fun with your keepsake(s) and to be able to wear it as often as you can wherever you may go.

We want you to be able to wear it in the shower, a quick dip in the pool and even when you throw yourself out of a plane - without fear!

My Milk Made Jewellery Care Tips

Our beads, charms, pendants and more will last for years to come. But we ask that you treat your keepsakes like you would precious items and fine jewellery. All of our items are suitable for daily wear within reason. Try not to wear them in salt water, chorine, spray perfume on them or store them in strong direct sunlight. 
 
Simple Care Tips: 
You may wear your items in the shower if you are showering with Cold water. Never with warm or HOT water as this will affect your pieces in the long-run.
Best when you remove your keepsake while during household chores: Substances with additional sulfur like household cleaners, chlorinated water, perspiration, and rubber will accelerate corrosion and tarnish. 
Keep out of direct sunlight: Sunlight can cause silver to tarnish as well.
Before you hit the beach or pool, be sure to remove. Prolonged soaking will affect your keepsakes in the long-run.
Put your jewelry on last: For decades, women have been putting their jewelry on last and for good reason. Lotions, makeup, hair spray and perfumes will accelerate tarnishing.
Place chalk/silica packs/anti-tarnish cloth in your jewellery box: They will absorb moisture and help prevent tarnishing.
Heat, moisture and UV will affect your keepsakes, but with proper care you will be able to maintain it for years to come.

On scratches and shine:
As with any jewellery, you will have to polish and wipe it to maintain shine. But with use do expect scratches and a lack of clarity. Send it in for and aftercare service and we'll help you get that shine and clarity back.

On Plated/Vermeil Keepsakes:
Our keepsake jewellery pieces use high-quality plated finishes over a 925 sterling silver base. As with all plated jewellery, the outer finish may naturally fade or soften over time depending on wear, storage conditions, skin chemistry, moisture exposure, and general care.

With time, some pieces may gradually reveal more of the sterling silver beneath the plating. This is considered a natural characteristic of plated jewellery and not a defect in the keepsake itself.

Proper care, dry storage, and regular gentle polishing can help prolong the beauty and lifespan of your piece.

On Tarnishing:
All metals tarnish in humid weather. E.g. stainless steel, gold, titanium. This may range from a thin film you can feel is on your piece, but not see or something you can visible see. If you tend to wear lotions or spray perfume on your pieces you may notice more tarnishing then usual once you store your pieces. Simply polish this tarnish off with the polishing cloth we have provided.

We want you to be able to wear it in the shower, a quick dip in the pool and even when you throw yourself out of a plane - without fear!

Why?

Because you can always send it back to us a few years down the road - or whenever you want a refresh - of your piece! We'll be able to sand, fix any cracks, recoat and refresh your piece!

Refurbishing Service
Planning on changing your bracelet into earrings? Your bead into a pendant? We can take your existing keepsake and turn it into something brand new. Ask us HERE !

I Bought My Keepsake Somewhere Else And Have Issues With It

We're here to help.

We Can Fix Keepsakes that Are:
* Cracked
* Scratched
* Yellowed
* Dulled

Unfortunately We Can't Fit Keepsakes that Are:
* Sticky  
* Turned Soft  
* Grown Mold 
* Rotted 
The above are signs of no/poor preservation and your keepsakes is deemed toxic to touch and we advise you to throw it away as they do emit fumes/gas.

We Can Also Repurpose Your Keepsake into Something Entirely New!
Examples:
* A Round Pendant > A Pure Milk Bead  
* Bracelet Beads > An Earring and Pendant Set

Note on Resin:
Not all resins were created equal. We are able to work with most keepsakes made from others, subject to the quality of resin and type of resin used. But yes! In general we are able to help prolong the longevity and beauty of your pieces for years to come!

Do You Ship Internationally?

Yes, absolutely!

We ship breastmilk jewelry worldwide with no issues.

However, depending on your country's regulations, you may need to figure out how to send us your breast milk directly.  We find that private couriers such as DHL/FEDex tend to be more lenient compared to national postal services.

Paid for Purchase: Change of Mind Hardwear finish

Accepted Answer

We understand that sometimes you just want to change your mind when it comes to jewellery hardware. We allow this switch within 24 hours. After that your pieces are specially ordered in for you.

But not to worry, we will still be able to make this switch for a service fee of RM20-RM50 which includes the additional shipping needed to make this switch.

Returns & Refunds

Completed Keepsake Refund
All Returns and Refunds will be based on a case-by case-basis. Each keepsake we produce is handmade with care, and each one unique. As they are hand crafted and not made with a machine and may come with tiny bubbles, slightly uneven edges, but truly one of a kind.

If you should receive an item that is defective, damaged, please contact us here within 2 days. We will try to help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible by repairing or replacing the piece.

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they pass us the correct size/measurements in US size.  Please take note that all our charts and correspondences are in US measurements.

A Note on Mother's Milk
Every mother’s milk is different. Colors, densities and hues will always differ.  If you see something perfectly white in the picture when you order, your breastmilk jewelry piece may come out slightly creamier or even a different shade of white to your computer settings. You may even see some breastmilk “specks” or proteins, that are heavier; and this is great! Because this is what makes your breastmilk piece unique.

Depending on your order, your keepsake gift will be lovingly created using either our Heirloom Jewellery Resin or Essentials Resin.

Every piece is individually handcrafted, making each keepsake beautifully unique. As such, keepsake gifts do not carry a warranty.

Should the hardware selected for your gift become unavailable, our team will carefully choose a similar option and upgrade it to one of equal or greater value for our Mamas, at no extra charge. We will always do our best to ensure your keepsake remains just as special as intended. ✨
